Nic-Nix is an app-controlled vape that helps people quit nicotine. The vape slowly reduces the amount of nicotine inhaled to reduce the user's dependence on it. The device is controlled through an app where information will be logged. Users will be able to see their current statistics, money saved, and be able to network with others trying to quit.
The UX design team aims to create the Nic-Nix app that helps users manage and progress though their quitting program. The app will offer features such as monitoring current nicotine usage, their personalized quitting program, and have access to a community to other Nic-Nix users.
The tasks were broken down to different team members. I got first tasked to create the initial survey for users to fill out. The survey takes basic health information and current lifestyle habits, puts the data into an algorithm, and creates a personalized program for the user. After collaborating with other group members, this first wireframe was created.
I also made this wireframe for a login and sign up page. The users first see a login screen where they can input their email and password. It will then take them to a two-step verification page where a code will be sent to their email. Once the code is inputted, it will take them to the home page. They may also login through Google, Apple, or Facebook. If the user wishes to create an account, they can click the Sign Up button. This will take them to a sign up page where they must enter their name, email, and create a password. They may also sign up using Google, Apple, or Facebook. If the user happens to forget their password, they can click the Forgot Password button on the login page where it will take them to a new page. The page will send them a code to their email and they must enter the code to reset their password.
